Page 1
There are 11 strips. Cut these up and get students in pairs or groups to arrange them in order. (Alternative, it can be done as physical ordering activity with each student being given one strip. They then arrange themselves in the correct order.)

Page 2
Students ask each other comprehension questions about the story.

Students then retell the story using the prompt cards. (There are 9 prompts and these can be used in various ways. For example, projecting them onto the WB and eliciting the complete sentences as a noughts and crosses activity)

Students complete the grammar gap fill task.
