Worksheet description
Board game with speaking cues for statements using past tenses with time expressions: When I got up this morning.... Until I left school, I'd never.... By the time I was 12.... etc.
Instructions
Give out one board and a die for each group of 3 or 4 students. Each student must have a counter (any small object - coin, paper clip, erase etc.) to move around the board. When a student lands on a square, s/he must use the cue to make a true sentence. Others can ask follow-up question.
NB - Two squares - 17 and 19 - require the present perfect tense.
